the location was fine.
The paintwork throughout the hotel looked quite poor. It needed updating. the drawers in the bedside lockers did not open properly. also, i found the rooms to be very dark, quite gloomy really.

The hotel has a great location. The views were amazing! the leisure facilities are very clean, and the rooms were a good size too. i enjoyed my time in the spa and found it easy to relax.
I found the bacon cold and hard at breakfast. sometimes, the eggs seemed undercooked! the tv had a poor selection of stations. I could not access the full freeview channels. the bedside locker drawers did not open, annoying.

the breakfast buffet offered a good selection. our room was spacious and comfortable with quality bedding. i also found the public spaces including the bar area pleasant.
cleanliness was an issue i noticed. i found hair under furniture and on the towels. i also saw cobwebs on the lighting. i was disappointed in the cleaning standards expected of a four star hotel!

really good roomterrific spa
the room was really good. the spa and pool facilities were terrific. i found the close walk to the golf course very nice. the service in the restaurant was really good also.
the doormen weren't friendly. they don't even smile as we arrived at the hotel.

The breakfast had many choices. healthy options were available. the staff was attentive. Nothing seemed too difficult. the room had views of the bay.
the bathroom was basic. there was grout missing everywhere in the bathroom. the bath plug contained dirt.
